Patch Notes v0.40.79

This update rebuilds what monsters drop. Every monster now drops gear for every slot of its level, and never drops gear above its level. We also changed Wind Focus, added a "Where to Upgrade" part to the Encyclopedia, and fixed many small things.

Drops

Ordinary monsters

• Nerf Monster cards: every monster still drops its own card, but the chance is much lower.
• Change Potions: the chance to get a Health Potion or a Mana Potion is a little lower than before. The size and the count changed:

Every map now gives the potion that fits its level.

Gear from ordinary monsters

• Change Every monster drops gear from every slot of its own level group: weapon, armor or robe, helmet or hat, shield, boots, ring, necklace, earring, bracelet, belt and talisman. Warrior and mage gear both.
• Change A monster never drops gear above its own level.
• The full list for every monster is at the end of this post.

Other drop changes

• Change Skill Scroll: no longer drops from Ashen Realm monsters. Get Skill Scrolls, Skill Books and Skill Codex from meteorites.
• Change Ancient Metal Chest: no longer drops from Ashen Realm monsters. You still get it from mining and crafting.
• Change Riding Medallion (for riding): now every ordinary monster in Peaceful Valley can drop it. Before, only Alpha Gray Wolf dropped it. Alpha Gray Wolf now drops it less often.

Bosses

• New Ancient Spirit: every boss can now drop the Ancient Spirit of its map.

Skills

Change Wind Focus (mage)

The critical chance from Wind Focus now grows with your INT and with the skill level. Before, it was the same for every mage, and INT did not count.

New rule: (0.25 + INT ÷ 150) × skill level = critical chance in %. The skill level counts from Novice 1 = 1 up to Perfect 10 = 45.

• For most mages this means less critical chance than before. At very high INT the numbers come close to the old ones.
• Your total critical chance can never go over 100%.
• The number now keeps one decimal, like +14.7%. It is not rounded down.

Encyclopedia

New "Where to Upgrade": a new part on the item page, in the Upgrade tab.

• It lists every anvil that can upgrade this item, and every Blacksmith.
• Each place is one big row you can press.
• A Blacksmith row shows the Blacksmith's face and a map button that opens that map's page.
• Small tags show how a place is different: "No materials", "Lost on fail".

Island

• New Island chests: drag an item from one chest straight into another chest. Before, you had to move it to your bag first.

Fixes

Auto Hunt

• Fix Auto Hunt keeps hitting the monster it already reached. Before, when another monster attacked you, Auto Hunt left the one it was hitting and ran to the new one.

Party window

• Fix The party's kill counter now shows the real, saved number. It updates at most every 5 seconds, it never goes down, and every member sees the same number, even on another server. Before, the number could jump ahead and then fall back, and members saw different numbers.
• Fix The party level used the same wrong number. Now it uses the real one too.

Settings

• Fix Server list: the game now checks every server again each time you open the list. Before, if a region (like Asia) looked closed when you logged in, its button stayed blocked until you restarted the game.

Trading Post

• Fix Item info box: enchant tiers now show right. Before, a T4 bonus could show as T3.

Item info boxes

• Fix Mail rewards show the real item, with its bonuses, sockets and +level. Before, they showed a plain item.
• Fix Mount panel: a mount seal shows how much ride time is left.
• Fix Island chests: a mount seal shows its time left, and a pool essence shows if it is on or off.
• Fix Encyclopedia card: no longer shows bonuses that were removed from the game, and keeps the sockets you drilled in jewelry.
• Fix Alchemist window: shows the normal item info box.
• Fix Trading Post rows and details use the same info box as your bag.
• Fix Items that can be upgraded now show +0.

Servers

• Change Server performance improvements.

Every monster: what it drops now

How to read this list:

• Monsters are grouped by level. Every monster in a group now drops the same gear: one item for every slot.
• If a monster already dropped an item before, it now drops it less often. Every other item in its table is new for that monster.
• Removed means the monster does not drop that item anymore.
• Cards and potions follow the rules above.
