Patch Notes v0.38.9

Swordwound v0.38.9 is live! A lot of improvements on QoL, new feature and bug fixes!

NEW

- Item sharing in chat: You can now share your items in chat. Right-click an item and choose "Share to chat". Everyone who sees the message can hover over the item and see its full tooltip in their own language: bonuses with their tiers, socketed stones with their stats, and refine level. You can also share the items you are wearing.

- Character binding: You can now bind your items to your character. Right-click an item and choose "Bind to character". A bound item is locked to your character: it cannot be given away, traded, sold, dropped or salvaged. Items you are wearing can be bound as well. Unlocking a bound item takes 1 day.

- Salvage machine queue: Previously, you had to wait for the salvage machine to finish before adding the next item. Now you can queue 2 more items while it is working, by right-clicking them or dragging them onto the queue slots. The machine moves on to the next item by itself.

- Island chests: Island chests now hold twice as many items. A new button sorts a chest with one click.

- Crafting amount: Previously, the crafting amount could only be set with the plus and minus buttons. Now you can type it with your keyboard.

CHANGES

- Shared experience: Previously, experience from a monster killed together was not tied to how much each player contributed. Now it is split by the damage each player dealt. Whoever hit the monster the most gets the most experience.

- Ring of Ruin: The skill's area now grows as its level goes up.

- Iron Body: Previously, Iron Body raised your defense but did not reduce the damage you took inside dungeons, because of an error in the dungeon damage calculation. The error is fixed. Iron Body now reduces damage in dungeons as well.

- Wind Mage healing: Previously, the Wind Mage's healing skill sometimes showed +0 and healed nothing. Now it restores health instantly, every time.

- Auto-hunt movement: Previously, clicking the ground while auto-hunt was on made the character walk slowly and crookedly. Now auto-hunt ignores your clicks and movement commands while it is on.

- Auto-hunt mana: Previously, auto-hunt kept trying to cast skills even without enough mana. Now it does not try.

- Minimap: Previously, the minimap and the world map looked different. Now they look the same.

- Encyclopedia: Encyclopedia categories were reorganized. A monster's region is now shown on the same map image as the world map.

- Boss kill announcement: The name of the player who killed the boss is now shown in green, and the boss's name in red.

- Trade Center: Previously, your own listings looked like everyone else's in the buy list, so the cheapest line could be your own. A purchase never buys from yourself, so it started from the next line. Now your own listings are faded and marked "You". A purchase always starts from the cheapest listing by other players.

- Level requirement: If your level is too low to use an item, the required level is now shown in red in the tooltip and in item comparison.

- Mobile interface: The quest list is now narrower, and the "Show all stats" button is smaller, so both cover less of the screen.

- Text fields: Previously, the browser suggested some entries from history in name fields. It no longer does.

BUG FIXES

- Essences: Previously, essences placed in a chest and taken back came out empty. The same thing happened when an essence was dropped and picked up, traded, or sold to a merchant and bought back. All of these are fixed.

- Party loot: Previously, an item could disappear when a party member picked up the loot of a player who had just disconnected. Fixed.

- Clan chat history: Item links in older clan chat messages are now shown correctly.
